Ha!Ha!Ha! Finally back to hotel, I missed curry fish ball and he missed 7 eleven cup noodle, so we decided to fulfill ourselves before we go to airport.

Our luggage, very packed huh and heavy...

Brought some souvenir before we home. Actually you can found this kind of cookies anywhere at Macao downtown, but at airport have less option, so if you want to have more choice better buy from downtown instead of Airport.

Macao duty free nothing much to shop, so you no need to come airport so early, super boring oh...

Hungry.. he get me some snack to bite, the polo bun so so only, nugget normal, but the sausage bread is delicious. :) Everything here cost MOD 100

Of course including mineral water and soya bean...

Lou Lim Ieoc Park

The most Chinese of all of Macao's garden is the Lou Lim Ieoc Garden. It was built by a wealthy 19th century Chinese merchant, Lou Kau, and was inherited by his son Lou Lim Ieoc in 1906. When the family fortunes declined the garden fell into ruins, but it was eventually purchased and restored by the government and opened to the public in 1974.

The garden is modeled on those of Soochow, the most famous of all Chinese classical gardens. Enclosed by a high wall, it is a miniaturized landscape with narrow paths winding through groves of bamboo and flowering bushes, under moulded concrete "mountain" to a large pond filled with golden carp and lotus flowers. A nine-turn bridge zigzags across the pond (according to legend, evil spirits can only move in straight line) to a large pavilion combining Classical and Chinese architecture elements. There are frequent art and craft exhibitions in the pavilion, which also serves as an auditorium for recitals during the annual International Music Festival.

Ha!Ha!Ha! No plan to visit this park, since we loss our way back to hotel, and just nice we by pass here, so we decided to walk in and have a look.

Historic Archives

The Macao Historical Archives were founded as the Macao General Archives in 1952 and restructured in 1979 prior to being taken over by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macao in 1986. The facilities currently offer excellent conditions for safe storage of the precious works held there and viewing is possible with a computerised system.

The archives pertaining to the Public Administration and Municipal Council can be consulted and there is also graphic and cartographic material.The Historical Archives offer researchers countless microfilms of documents in the Portuguese and Chinese languages as well as other foreign languages. There are also microfilms of rare works on Macao's history and Portugal's relations with the Far East. Most of this information is also available through a data base.

The Archives publish the Historical Archives Bulletin, a development of the Archives of Macao (published since 1929) which is an invaluable source of information for those interested in studying Macao.

Thought walk back to Hotel after Guia Fortress walked, but we loss our way back and suddenly found a signboard to Historical Archives, so we decided to stop here to snap some picture. :)

Guia Fortress & Lighthouse

The fortress was built between 1622 and 1638. Inside the fortress stands Guia Chapel, originallly established by Clarist nuns, who resided at the site before establishing the Convent of St. Clare. The Chapel's elaborate frescoes depict representations of both western and Chinese themes, displaying motifs of religious and mythological inspiration that are a perfect example of Macau's multicultural dimension. Guia Lighthouse, dating from 1865, which also stands within the perimeter, is the first modern lighthouse on the Chinese coast. Guia Fortress, along with the chapel and lighthouse are symbols of Macau's maritime, military and missionary past.

Since is the symbol of Macau, so we must visit before we flying back to Malaysia. After our breakfast we took cab to Guia Fortress, but still need to walk a distance. Another option is take cable car, unfortunately cable car is closed on Monday, so we need to depend on our own leg to walk.

Venetian Macao

Venetian is a new hotel, shopping mall and casino at Macao Taipa. At night we took Holiday Inn Shutter Bus to Ferry Terminal and exchange to Venetian Shutter Bus to have a walk at Venetian.

The interior of Venetian is the combination of Portuguese style building with sky in day time till dark night and man-made river in the building. This river have boat, if you are early you can take a ride. :)

After shopping at Venetian, we took Wynn Shutter Bus back to downtown, so take a walk at downtown before we back to hotel.. Since is our last night at Macau...

Mount Fortress & Nat Cha Temple

Section of the Old City Walls, this surviving segment of the city's defense structures, built as early as 1569. is remnant of an early Portuguese tradition of constructing defensive walls around their port settlements, done also in Africa and India. In Macau, this section bears testimony to the incorporation of local techniques and materials especially a solid compound named chunambo, an elaborate mixture of clay, soil, sand, rice straw, crushed rocks and oyster shells compacted in successive layers.

Na Tcha Temple built in 1888, this temple is dedicated to the worship of Na Tcha. This small traditional Chinese Temple stands close to the remains of the principal Jesuit enterprise of the region, presenting a dialectic of western and Chinese ideals, as one of the best examples of Macau's multicultural identity and religious freedom.

Mount Fortress built in conjunction with the Jesuit from 1617 to 1626, this was the city's principal military defence structure. The fortress was equipped with cannons, military barracks, wells and an arsenal that held sufficient ammunition and supplies to endure a siege lasting up to two years. The fortress covers an area of 10,000 square meters, in the shape of a trapezoid. The four corners of the fortress protrude to form bulwarks.

Protestant Cemetery provides an insight into Macau's diverse community profile. Located to the Casa Garden, the Protestant Cemetery provides a comprehensive record of the earliest Protestant community of Macau. Together with the site, the chapel was built in 1821, which is now referred to as " the Morrison Chapel" in honour of Robert Morrison (1782 - 1834). George Chinnery (1774-1852) an important British China-trade artist is also buried at the site, alongside various other prominent figures of the time, including several officials from the East India Company and Protestants from the United States and Britain.

St. Antony's Church first built of bamboo and wood before 1560, this is one of the oldest churches in Macau, also marking the site where the Jesuits setup their earliest headquarters in the city. The church was reconstructed in stone several times, while the present appearance and scale of the church dates back to 1930. Previously, members of the Portuguese community would hold wedding ceremonies there, so giving rise to the Chinese name of Fa Vong Tong (Church of Flowers).

Ruins of St. Paul's

The Ruins of St. Paul's refer to the facade of what was originally the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602 - 1640. destroyed by fire in 1835, and the ruins of St. Paul's college, which stood adjacent to the Church. As a whole, the old Church of Mater Dei, St. Paul's college and Mount Fortress were all Jesuit construction and formed what can be perceived as the Macau's "acropolis". Close by, the archaeological remains of the old College of St. Paul stand witness to what was the first western-style university in the Far East, with an elaborate academic programme. Nowadays, the facade of the Ruins of St. Paul's functions symbolically as an altar to the city.

Sam Kai Vui Kun Temple & Senado Square

This temple is located close to the old Chinese Bazaar area, which nowadays functions as St. Dominic's Market, still keepping the essence of the original function of the area. The location of this Chinese construction at the heart of the main city square with its predominantly western-style architecture illustrates the harmonious coexistence of the two cultures. This temple is directly associated with long-standing Chinese business associations, precursors to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the City.

Is a very old temple.

Senado Square has been Macau's urban centre for centuries, and is still the most popular venue for public events and celebrations today. Located close to former Senate building, Sam Kai Vui Kun Temple is also a reminder of the active participation of the local Chinese community in general civic affairs, providing a clear example of the multicultural dimension of Macau community. The square is surrounded by pastel-colored neo-classical building, creating a consistent and harmonious Mediterranean atmosphere.

Holy House of Mercy established by the first Bishop of Macau in 1569, this institution was modelled after one of the most prominent and oldest charitable organizations in Portugal, and was responsible for founding in Macau the first western-style medical clinic and several other social welfare structures that still function to this day. The building is neo-classical in the overall architecture treatment, but also depicts traces of mannerist influence.

Catheral, there are no records of the original date of construction but a solid brick structure was built in 1622, and repaired in 1743. During the restoration of 1780, the religious service of the Cathedral were temporarily transferred to the old chapel of the Holy House of Mercy. The facade is characterized by pilasters and the twin belfries that stand out on the street scape. The exterior is clad in Shanghai plaster, giving the church a monolithic subdued appearance.

Lou Kau Mansion is believed to be built in 1889. This was the home of Lou Kau, a prominent Chinese Merchant who owned several imposing properties in the city. The location of this grand old house depicts the diverse social profile present in the centre of the old :Christian City", where this traditional Chinese residence stands near Senado Square and Cathedral Square. Lou Kau mansion is a two-storey, traditional grey-brick courtyard house, with the architectural characteristics of a typical xiguan Chinese residential building.

I am having ice-cream so we did not enter the mansion. :)

Wong Ji Kei

Noodles are major food source in the world. According to the historic records. China started making noodles in the Han Dynasty (200 BC). Early references to noodles in ancient documents appear as different names of cakes. Now many countries make their own distinct kinds of noodles, but they are all soft and mushy. Only the Cantonese egg noodles are an exception, being find as silk, smooth and springy. The Cantonese noodles originated from the area of Canton (Guang'Zhou) and are made with the bamboo sticks (as a pivotal mechanism to compress the four mix).

Since noodles is so famous so we must try the egg noodles in Macao. We suppose to find a famous egg noodles restaurant nearby St. Paul. But we are too hungry, just picked one and go in. But still pack with people.

St. Lawrence Church & St. Augustines Square

At Macao you can just walk to any place you would like to go, so now we are walking to St. Augustines's Square and St. Lawrence Church

St. Augustine's Square gathers various classified building, such as St. Augustine's Church, Dom Pedro V Theatre, St. Joseph's Seminary and Sir Robert Ho Tung Library. The cobblestone pavement unifies the area and reflects a traditionally Portuguese streetscape.

Now we are at St. Lawrence Church. St. Lawrence Church built by the Jesuits in the mid-16th century, this is once of the three oldest churches in Macau. Its present apprearance and scale was acquired in 1846. Situated on the southern coastline of Macau overlooking the sea, families on the front steps of the church to pray and wait for their return, hence it was given the name: Feng Shun Tang (Hall of the Soothing Winds). The neighborhood where the church is located used to be fairly wealthy, thus explaining the building's scale and wealth of architectural treatment. It is a neo-classical structure, with subtle baroque decorative inspirations.

Mandarin House

The Mandarin's house built around 1869 was the ancestral home of Zheng Guanying. The construction of the house was initate by Zheng Wenrui, the father of Zheng Guanying, and the house was later expanded by the Zheng brothers.

The house occupied an area of 4000 meter square on which are buildings and open spaces designed in various architectural styles. The entire complex has more than 60 rooms in total. A private residence of such scale is rare in Macao.

The layout of the Mandarin's House can divided into two zones: front and back. The front area encompasses the gatehouse, the servant's quarters, the main garden and its connecting building. The back area is the master's quarters, mainly consisting of two traditional Guangdong courtyard houses of symmetrical arrangement. These two houses are separated by an alleyway, but are linked by hallways on second level. On plan, each house is of three bays in width and two hall in depth. There is a patio in the central bay between the halls along the main axis of the house. Similarly, both houses are two storeys in front view, but are three storeys high at the back.

The Mandarin's House has the essential characteristics of traditional Guangdong residence, yet it also features a fusion of architectural influences from other cultures. making it a unique product that demonstrates the encounter and interchange between Chinese and Western cultures.

Moorish Barracks & Church Our Lady Penha

This is Moorish Barracks built in 1874, this building was constructed to accommodate an Indian regiment from Goa appointed to reinforce Macao's police force. Now it serves as the headquarters of the Maritime Administration. The Moorish Barracks is a distinctly neo-classical building integrating architectural elements of Moghul influence.

Now we are walking toward Church Our Lady Penha is located at hill side.

Church of Our Lady of Penha serving as a point of pilgrimage for sailors embarking on a hazardous voyage, the chapel was founded in 1622 by the crew and passengers of a Portuguese ship which had narrowly escaped capture by the Dutch raiders.The chapel was completely rebuilt, along with the Bishop's Palace in 1837. Located at the top of Penha Hill, it affords views of the inner harbour, the magnificent Macau-Taipa bridge, and nearby towns in China.

On the way we walked down from the hill, we saw a car full of bearbrick, so I purposely snapped this picture for brother and Adrian. :)

A-Ma Temple

After walked in Macao Tower, we took cab to A-Ma temple, too tired to walk. :)

A-Ma Temple already existed before the city of Macao came into being. It consists of the Gate Pavilion, the Memorial Arch, the prayer hall, the hall of Benevolence, the Hall of Guanyin, and ZhengJiao Chanlin (a Buddhist pavilion). The variety of pavilions dedicated to the worship of different deities in a single complex make A-Ma temple an exemplary representation of Chinese culture inspired by Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and multiple folk beliefs.

I saw TV program introduce this ice-cream before, so he brought me one cup of ice-cream and the uncle borrow us his car and help us to snap picture.

Lotus Monument & Portuguese Dinner

We are surrounding by Casino, while walking to Lotus Monument we saw another casino

Standing in Lotus Square next to the Forum, the large sculpture of "Lotus Flower In Full Bloom" presented by the State Council of China in 1999, marks the return of sovereignty of Macau.
The sculpture, made of gilded bronze and weights 6.5 tons, is 6 meters high and the diameter of the flower is 3.6 meters at maximum. The major part is composed of a stem, petals and pistil, with a total of 16 components. The base of the flower consists of 23 pieces of red granite. The lotus flower, which is in full bloom, symbolizes the everlasting prosperity of Macau. There are three layers of red granite at the base, which are in the shape of lotus leaves, signifying the Macau Peninsula, Taipa Island and Coloane Island.

Statue Kun Iam

We are walking to Kun Iam Statue one of the popular landmark at Macao which located at Outer Harbor. At my back is Macao Tower, we will going there tomorrow.

The towering but graceful statue of Kun Iam has become one of Macau's popular landmark. It stands on a podium under which is an Ecumenical Centre shore is Av. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, with trees, plants and seats for people to stop and enjoy the view. After sunset this area becomes to boisterous life as people flock to its many pubs, bar and restaurants of all cuisines and character while at the same time they stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the fresh air, the seascape and views of Taipa island.

After a day trip in Shen Zhen, we travel back to Macao again. Here is our ferry fare, but we got to paid for RMB 170 full fare, compare to yesterday we get group ticket for 3 person, because of an aunty is asking for help. I really respect here to stand out from the ticket counter to hunt for target.

Good morning, time to have breakfast, but what can we have here. Is too early shopping mall still closed. So we walked around our hotel to look for local food.

Finally we found this small restaurant, that's many working people having their breakfast here, they even can pack from another restaurant and join their friend to have breakfast in another restaurant.

and another salon is dancing and singing outside their shop, feel so funny. My hubby told me that they are fighting for business, china saloon promote themselves in this way.

Is 10pm ++ when we arrived Sea World. Sea World is a boat converted to Inn and restaurants. Tonight we will have our dinner here. He told me is my valentine's dinner since this year valentine's day I am not with him :)

Upon we arrived Shen Zhen Ferry Terminal, we look for cab to bring us to hotel. This time we make a mistake, we took personal van which charged us RMB100. But the distance from Ferry Terminal to hotel is quite a short distance, is about RMB40. Been cheated, so next time if you take ferry to Shen Zhen remember to take cab with meter.

Although, we been cheated, luckily he still fetched us to our destination, here is Holiday Inn Shen Zhen, look so nice compare to Macao.

People here, did not eat such heavy breakfast, they only have a cup of hot drink with some bread.

Finally, time for boarding. But is not a good experience to take Air Aisa. Even we have paid to pick our seat, that's still have people sit at your place, make me feel so boring fly all the way from Malaysia to Macao, because I have no window seat for me. :(

Another 2 days is Chinese New Year, we went for Chinese New Year Shopping. This year I suggested to him not to buy ready made hamper for my mom, because nothing much is useful in the hamper, so we decided to buy thing that my mom needs and I pack all the goods in basket. See this is the Apple's Brand Hamper.

Guess how much this hamper cost?

Beside this hamper, we brought some herbs, dried seafood, dried meat, candy and ..... I think is enough for our Chinese New Year preparation .....

Dim Sum @ DU

Long time we did not eat Dim Sum, every time we by pass this Dim Sum restaurant at DU, I always told him we come next time. And we finally try it out and surprise me is this restaurant is packed.

Dim Sum we ordered... which cost us RM60 ...but the Dim Sum is nice and fresh ...

Why they are fresh? Because is not frozen and you can see the chef is preparing the Dim Sum in the kitchen ... Worth to try.. :)

Christmas Breakfast @ Dome

I know this is a very outdated post, but still would like to share out to my reader. On Christmas day we went to The Curve to collect thing, to avoid jam we reached early and have breakfast, thought to have western breakfast, so after walk around finally get in to Dome.

Not much people now, maybe is still early ...

So I ordered a cup of Hot Chocolate

and he ordered for coffee

After wait for more than 30min, our breakfast is still yet serve, but we can see the table at our back already have their breakfast. Then the waitress came and confirm what I order again, so we suspected that she did not help us to place our order. But she denied and said this is just avoid wrong order is taken and she got to bear the cost. Okay fine.. then we wait ...

His turkey sandwich finally here... which is the Christmas special at Dome... But the potato is nicer than the sandwich. Ha!Ha!HA!

Wait for another 15min, my breakfast still not here... when served chicken ham gone missing, when we asked, she queried and said so now you want it to be without chicken ham or want to add it. Wau..... feel a bit angry...

At the end she get the kitchen to add on chicken ham and we are wondering how come still can make mistake after you do 2 time of confirmation...

Feel very disappointed on their services especially their food is not cheap. This breakfast cost us RM60.

New TV

We seldom go down to KL, but just nice that I having my meeting at MSC on Friday, so he went down to fetched me and we dine at Grandmama's Pavilion. I did not do any order for this dinner, because he said he will order for me.

He have Hakka fried rice, and when served he told me never know Hakka Fried Rice is so dark, but taste nice.

Traditional HK Turtle Jelly

I always love Guai Ling Gou, but I always told him I want turtle jelly. :) So he brought me to tried out this turtle jelly came all the way from HK which located at Kota Damansara. Their turtle jelly is packed nicely and when you wanted to eat in hot then willo heat for you in microwave and if you wan in cold will served directly from fridge. So you actually can buy few bowl and stuck in your fridge. But is quite expensive, one small bowl cost RM15 and big RM20 depand on which type of herb you choose. Even the honey is come in packed.

Well this turtle jelly not so bitter compare to those we have it in Malaysia. Quite nice, but expensive because they claim they are using turtle shell to make this, so is very original turtle jelly.

MOF Japanese Sweets

He have this... because he love the white color taro ball, and this taro ball is tasteless so they serve a small cup of syrup for you to add on your preferred sweet level

I love mocha so I have Mocha ice ... Did not feel anything special ..

After dessert is time for us to go home... good bye ...

Went for our Christmas Shopping at The Curve, and can't stand the temptation on chocolate fondue so he brought me in to try it out.

Not much people, maybe is not dinner or lunch time

I have Ice-Blended Strawberry, is nice...

Although is not lunch or dinner, but he feel hungry so he ordered chicken pizza, not really nice but acceptable. You can demand on delicious food in Chocolate Lounge right? Because is not their specialty

Every month we will go to Desa Park City for grocery shopping, and we spotted this Korea restaurant open up in past few month and today we finally give a try

Korea cutlery set, I always feel hard to use Korea Chopstick because my chopstick skill is very bad

He ordered Korea Chicken Rice, is spicy and served in hot stone pot, I did not try because I having cough can't eat any spicy thing. But he told me is nice.

Then I have baked fish, forgot what is the fish name but quite nice and not much bone.

This lunch cost us RM60 and we are so full, luckily our next destination is shopping, therefore can help up on digestion the food.

Mum's Seafood Noodle House

This post quite outdated, we actually dine here after we back from China.

I love seafood very much, just nice that we notice that is a new restaurant open up at Kota Damansara so we give a try.

This restaurant is serving prawn noodle soup or clear soup for their seafood noodle, so we choose prawn noodle soup and is nicer than the seafood noodle restaurant at SS2. Some more they have fresh prawn, squid and mussel.

We tried Belancan Fried Chicken as well, not really nice, because taste like not fully marinate

Having our brunch at Kun Ming air port, that's no lift to reach this restaurant and we are carrying our luggage by walking staircase because check in counter from Kun Ming to KL only open at 11:30.

Our flight from Li Jiang to Kun Ming is 8:30am in the morning, so we are leaving Meow's Inn at 6:30 am. "Bread Car" came and fetch us to airport at RMB50.

Tomorrow we going to leave Li Jiang, he asking me what I wanted to have. I choose to have rice, because the rice at Li Jiang really delicious and Naxi Baked Fish, due to the sweet taste of the fish. But tonight I choose to add in Naxi Spicy Sauce even I am having cough. :)

This restaurant is nearby Da Shi Qiao Xiao Ci, but I forgot to take down the restaurant name.

You can see many poeple selling fruits, DongBa cigratte, selling song and even flower here. Heard that Dongba cigratte is they roll themself but is not a real cigratte so do not buy and flower is selling by small kid, they will keep asking you when you having your dinner.

Tonight we choose to get some pomegranate from this aunty and cost RMB10 for 3, is cheap compare to Malaysia, but their local people told me RMB10 they can get one pack and put in the fridge to slowly enjoy.. Ha!Ha!Ha! Been cheated.. :) But no point for me to buy a pack right, imposible I carry back to Malaysia ...

Li Jiang Old Town - Hei Long Tan (黑龙潭)

Our last scenery at Li Jiang is Hei Long Tan, but we not manage to enter because is closed. :(

The Black Dragon Pond scenic site was first constructed in the 2 year of Emperor Qian Long's reign in Qing Dynasty (1737 AD). The scenic site is in the north end of Li Jiang Old Town. Legendary tales say that the Black Dragon King Ruling over Lijiang had his royal palaces built right inside pond, and the limpid unfathomable pond water also contributed to the name of the place: the Black Dragon Pond. Presently, the scenic site bears the name Yuquan (Jade Dragon Spring) Park, yet the local folks would call it temple of the Dragon King.

Respectively in 17 year of Emperor Jiaqing's reigu (1812 AD) and 15 year of Emperor Guagxu's regn (1889 AD) in the Qing Dynasty, the emperors twice isssued imperial orders to confer the title Dragon God of Yuquan Spring and thereafter the place won its world fame as one of the reputed springs of China.

The Black Dragon Pond boasts not only picturesque natural scenery, but also humanistic scenes. Just to name a few these natural and natural wonders include the Moon-Viewing Tower, the Five Phoenixes Tower, the Retreat Forest, the Scholar's Tower, and the stone lions by the gateway of Great patriots. Showing extremely high aesthetic virtues and profound historical values, these scenic wonders have fully embodied the ideology unity of the nature and humans of the Chinese nation.

Chinese Oarty and state leaders who visited the Black Dragon Pond scenic site in the last decade included Hu Yaobang, Jiang Zemin, Li Peng, Zhu Rongji, Qiao Shi, Liu Huaqing, Panchen Erdeni Qoigyai Gyaincain and Wu Yi, and countless domestric and foreign tourist have frequented the Park. 丽江黑龙潭又名玉泉公园，位于城北象山脚下，从古城四方街沿经纬纵横的玉河溯流而上，约行一公里有一处晶莹清澈的泉潭，即为中外闻名的黑龙潭。潭水从石缝间涌涌喷出，依山斛清泉汇成四万平方米潭面。四周山青水秀，柳暗花明。依山傍水造型优美的古建筑点缀其间。其流韵溢彩，常引人驻足留连。

丽江黑龙潭公园俗称龙王庙，位于丽江古城北端象山之麓黑龙潭内随势错落的古建筑有龙神祠、得月楼、锁翠桥、玉皇阁和后来迁建于此的原明代芝山福国寺解脱林门楼、五凤楼，原知府衙署的明代光碧楼及清代听鹂榭、一文亭、文明坊等建筑。

At Baishui River you can see natural layer stone and the river water is falling down to formed white color water scenery. This is the scene that I love the most at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

白水河位于云南丽江玉龙雪山东麓山箐的云杉坪旁。这条清洌无比的山溪，因其水质未受任何污染，加之其河床、台地都是白色大理石、石灰岩碎石组成，水也仿佛成了白的，故名白水河。站在桥头和坝上，面对奔涌的白水，凝固的白雪、冰林，会引你起无限的遐想，进而沉醉不已。

白水河流过公路桥不远，便与从雪山上流下的另一条河水交汇。这条河河床的石头，却又是黑色居多，水流的颜色看起来也就成了黑色的，故名黑水河。两河交汇处，便成了黑白水河。

白水河离开甘海子继续北走，前行约5公里左右，拐过一个弯道，便能看到山下有一条从雪山流出的河水，经此向东流去，这就是白水河。经过白水河桥，你可在此停留，沿桥旁右边的道路下行，就可直抵白水河边。

白水河首先给你的是清洌明净的印象。河水系雪山积雪融化后又经岩层过滤，成泉水涌出而最终汇成此河。即使是夏季，你赤足涉河，那刺骨的感觉总会让你铭记这雪山泉水的品质。白水河水质纯净，未受任何污染，河水冲涮的卵石，清澈明晰，因为白石为底，水流其上，水的颜色更加明净，白水河也因此得名。白水河给你的第二个印象是秀丽神奇，沿河溪水瀑布层叠，近处两岸植被繁茂，远处雪峰背衬。白水河蜿蜒自雪山深处流出，你可步行或骑马逆流而上，观赏沿岸风光，探寻雪山之下河水形成的初始情况，并可亲口尝一尝这天然的纯净水，带上这份清爽的感觉。白水河从桥下流过，一直往东，在不远处与雪山流出的另一条河水交汇。这条河水也是雪山积雪融化成泉，最终汇成溪水的，水质明净，因水下的卵石黑色居多，水流其上，水的颜色相映成黑色，故名黑水河，白水河与黑水河交汇，便成了黑白水河。雪山以万年古雪和黑白之石孕育出的黑白水，纳西民族对它有着特殊的情感，东巴经《鲁般鲁饶》卷中以黑白来解释世间万物，指出阴阳调和，黑白不分开，世间就和谐有序，眼前的黑白水，是一条自然之河，爱情之河，对你来讲，黑白水寓意着行路无阻拦，过河没障碍，旅途保平安。

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain - Lan Yue Gu (蓝月谷)

That is three pond at at Blue Moon Valley known as Yu Yue Hu (玉月湖), Jin Her Hu (镜河湖), Lan Yue Hu (蓝月湖) and Ting Qin Hu (听清湖) all this lakes is crystal blue. We purchase RMB20 electrical car ticket to bring us around this 4 lake.

Trust me the water here is crystal blue ...

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain - Yak Meadow Part 1

Yak Meadow got its name because the local people like to pasture their Yak here.

The landscape rises and falls on the meadow. In spring and summer, Yaks with black and white skin wander in grass and all kinds of flowers. In autumn and winter, the mild edge of th meadow becoms a sharp contrast with the peaks of the snow mountain.

High latitude and wide meadow give you a board view. Looking down at Ganhaizi, Yunshanping and continuous mountains, you will find that the snow mountain is so close to you. Clouds circle around the waist of mountain. Cool wind gently blows on your face. All the things here are so peaceful and beautiful.

Service of a Cable car transfer to the summit is available. Highly recommend you to leave the town of Dayan earlier in the morning, to take the cable car. Usually it is very crowded from 9h00 in the morning. So leave the town at 7h00, and drive one hour to the Yak Meadow.

When you arrive the summit, have a simple Tibetan style breakfast at the moutain top! Hot Yak milk is something that can not be missed, at this moment, this place.

Follow the trekking trail and walk around the forest. Yulong Snow Mountain is the spititual prop of the Naxi. The God of Jade Dragon, Sanduo, is the greatest protector of the Naxi people.

牦牛坪位于丽江玉龙雪山景区北端，是玉龙雪山景区的重要组成部分，东起丽鸣公路，南临黑水河，西依玉龙雪山东麓，北达雪花村上部，面积16.6平方公里，景区内生活着彝族，藏族村落。

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain - Environment Friendly Bus Station

In Lijiang City you can have a magnificent view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, with the main peak thrust into the clouds, the Old Man Peak standing out on the right and Black Snow Peak on its left. Its peak was climbed for the first time in 1963 by a research team from Beijing.

The 13 peaks of 18,360-foot Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a treasure of wild plants and rare animals, are like a silver dragon lying in the clouds. Awesome and unconquered, they dominate the Lijiang Plain. Some have described Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as a radiant cornet crowning Lijiang's head. It is said that the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain arose from an ancient geosyncline 230 million years ago in an age when dinosaurs began to increase and formed its present shape sometime during the last 600,000 years, even as late as 12,000 years ago.

In the alpine meadows of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain's lower slopes, lonely herders sing to their goats and set the wild echoes flying with the music of their reed pipes. It is a botanist's paradise, and a " kingdom of medicinal materials." Of the 13,000 kinds of plants in Yunnan, more than half of them can be found on Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as well as 400 types of trees in 20 primeval forest communities. On its slopes grow such trees as fir, dragon spruce, Chinese hemlock, Chinese larch, and fragrant camphor. There are more than 50 species of azalea, 60 kinds of primroses, eight species of poppies and 20 lilies, four species of peonies, five camellia, 50 species of rough gentian, and six kinds of flowering crabapple. The mountain is decorated with blooming flowers 10 months of the year. It is also home to a rare tea - Wild Snow Tea -which the Naxi insist is good for high blood pressure. The mountain is also considered a sanctuary for animals. It is home to 30 kinds of animals protected by the state, such as the wild ass, the Yunnan snub-nosed monkey, the lesser panda, etc. It even has green glittering snow. You can see it from Yunshanping ( Dragon Spruce Meadow )if you look westward. The only explanation that has emerged is that it may be caused by crystals or algae. And she has a glacier at the lowest altitude in China that is 7.5 miles wide and 21.7 miles long.

The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is one of Yunnan's protected nature reserves, and it has attracted the attention of many scholars and travelers.

A chairlift has been built up the mountain. The first section takes you about halfway up, near Love-Suicide Hill, where you can rent horses to ride to a large meadow. The second chairlift, the highest in Asia, takes you to a stunning 4506m, where walkways lead to awesome glacier views. Watch out for the symptoms of altitude sickness here-Chinese entrepreneurs sell bags of oxygen to chain-smoking Chinese tourists for around 30 RMB.

Several other scenic areas have recently opened up. A ski lift has been built at Yunshanping, 36km from Lijiang. The lift takes you up to a plateau at 3300m, from where there are walking trails.

The scenic area of Yak Meadow(Maoniuping) is around 60 km from Lijiang, where yet another cable car takes tourists up to the meadows at 3500m. Snowflake Lake(Xuehua Hai) is nearby and there are plenty of hiking opportunities all around.

玉龙雪山主峰扇子陡海拔5596米，是世界上北半球纬度最低、海拔最高的山峰。它位于中国云南省丽江西北，呈南北走向，东西宽约13公里，南北长约35公里，与哈巴雪山对峙，汹涌澎湃的金沙江奔腾其间。玉龙雪山在纳西族被称为“波石欧鲁”，意为白沙的银色山岩。整座雪山由十三峰组成，由北向南呈纵向排列，延绵近50公里，东西宽约13公里。玉龙雪山不仅气势磅礴，而且秀丽挺拔，造型玲珑，皎洁如晶莹的玉石，灿烂如十三把利剑，在碧蓝天幕的映衬下，像一条银色的玉龙在作永恒的飞舞，故名玉龙山。又因玉龙雪山的岩性主要为石灰岩与玄武岩，黑白分明，故又称为“黑白雪山”。

玉龙雪山是纳西族及丽江各民族心目中一座神圣的山，纳西族的保护神“三朵”就是玉龙雪山的化身，至今丽江还举行每年一度盛大的“三朵节”。唐朝南诏国异牟寻时代，南诏国主异牟寻封岳拜山，曾封赠玉龙雪山为北岳，至今白沙村北北岳庙尚存，仍然庭院幽深，佛面生辉。拜山朝圣者不绝于途。元代初年，元世祖忽必烈到丽江时，曾封玉龙雪山为“大圣雪石北岳安邦景帝”，至今白沙村北北岳庙尚存，仍然庭院幽深，佛面生辉。拜山朝圣者不绝于途。玉龙雪山凭其迷人的景观、神秘的传说和至今尚是无人征服的处女峰而令人心驰神往。

1988年，玉龙雪山以云南丽江玉龙雪山风景名胜区的名义，被国务院批准列入第二批国家级风景名胜区名单。2007年5月8日，丽江市玉龙雪山景区经国家旅游局正式批准为国家5A级旅游景区。

大面积的雪海是优良的天然滑雪场。据专家考察论证认为：这里是世界上最长的滑雪场，也是最温暖的滑雪场。为方便游客这里还建有中国海拔最高的旅游客运索道。通过方便的设施可以带你进入这个神奇的世界。

There are three different scenic at Jade Dragon Mountain:

1. Shan Zi Dou (扇子陡玉龙雪山大索道): You can take cable car and entering the peak of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain located at 5,596 m or 18,359 ft (大索道就是扇子陡景区，是玉龙雪山的主峰。这里的风景以冰川为主，索道起点海拔高度是3356米，终点海拔高度是4506米，重点有全国海拔最高的滑雪场（四季滑雪场）。索道的顶部还有栈道，如果体力不错，还可以再往上走，直到能到达的最高点——海拔4680米处。)

2. Yun Shan Ping(云杉坪小索道): You can have full view of snow mountain here and is a big field. But that is a story told that here is a place that first Naxi couple commit suicide here. (云杉坪又称“情死之地”，传说云杉坪是纳西族第一对情人殉情之地。这里的海拔3240米，是一块隐藏在原始云杉林中的巨大草坪。)

3. Yak Meadow(牦牛坪索道): Is a field that Yak love to enjoy their fresh grass here, but during winter is a natural ski field (这里有空间开阔的高山草甸，位置是在玉龙雪山的东北边，是天然的冬季滑雪场。牦牛坪有很多景点，每个季节呈现在眼前的风景都不一样。)

We choose to visit Yak Meadow to have the full view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain .. so we purchase our ticket at Dry Sea, cost RMB80 (RMB60 entrance fees to the Yak Meadow and RMB20 for bus). Customer service here is very bad, no friendly smile only know how to scold people when we not understand what they wanted.

Many tourist actually choose to go Yun Shan Ping so will be packed and long queue.
